It’s been a while since I last wrote anything up.
I’ve been extremely busy assisting my future mother-in-law with a move to sunny Devon.
This has been a long-term goal and was extremely challenging to achieve, especially with the restrictions, but it will hopefully bring some longer-term prosperity. It was extremely challenging, although not without its funny moments. Highlights included England going into lockdown two hours after we landed, being kicked out of the hotel, finding an Airbnb, our flight being postponed for an extra day, struggling to get a hotel room for the drive south to split the journey and finally arriving back the day before a national lockdown over the Yuletide week was announced. Each of these experiences came with certain costs and lessons.
Altogether, 2020 will remain in many people’s memories for a long time. It has been mixed with sadness, small moments of relief, major changes in the biggest and smallest ways, and major changes in how we, as humans, see the world.

I usually write up a list of lessons I have learned each year and some goals for the next year, so here are my lessons:
- Take advantage of the small moments where you can experience joy, as it won’t last
- Moving in a pandemic is really challenging
- Consider how you treat other people
- Nothing is black and white
- Always try to find a way to improve yourself
After consulting with my spirit guides, I learned that the next year will be very spiritually challenging. It will be good but challenging. I will spend a lot of time outside, pay off some long-term loans and not struggle so much. My goals are :
- Progression along my Bardic path
- Progression with the Ogham course I am studying
- Pay off loans
- Learn some new skills at work
- Finish off major flat projects
- Grow some food at my allotment
I hope everyone can move forward with 2021 and put 2020 to bed!
